A lady who was let down by her parents after she got pregnant before marriage, has become a manager and now takes care of her parents and siblings.

Ogbaji Comfort got pregnant out of wedlock and gave birth to a baby girl. This angered her parents and her mother placed a curse on her. Both parents abandoned her and refused to sponsor her education. But she worked to see herself through school, according to a story she shared.

Her problems continued when she tried to get a job. She was abused physically, sexually, and emotionally by her bosses. Eventually, she got a job as a cook in a company and rose from being the cook to being the manager of the company. She now takes care of her parents and siblings who abandoned her initially, according to her.

She shared her grass to grace story to encourage people who are suicidal as a result of problems they are currently facing.

Sharing her story on Instagram, she wrote: 

I thank God for who I am today.i taught I have seen it all,after having a baby out of wedlock, rejected by my parents.

My mum placed a cursed on me out of anger for getting pregnant out of wedlock as the only daughter.

After child birth, I applied for national diploma without a penny in my pocket. I was given an admission, I went home to tell my dad, my dad said he is not ready to waste money again, my brother became the most loved. But I didn't give up.

I went to school with faith, I sell satchet water for money, from satchet water I started making hair, fixing nails and lashes for money. Every Friday I will go to market to hawk for money.

After my ND certificate. I went to Lagos, my life in Lagos started as a house help. I was beaten to coma by my boss for drinking water from the water dispenser instead drinking tab water. He used my salary to pay my hospital bills, I went back to my cousin house.

Life in Lagos was terrible, I was raped, scammed, sexually abused. One day I received a call from my agent, I went for the interview, got the job as a chef in a hotel out side Lagos, from chef I became the manager .

I went back to the village enrolled my daughter into the best school in taraba state, started paying my elder brother school fees. Now he is a graduate of biochemistry, started a business for my mother also supported father in his farming business.

Am now the breadwinner of the family, nothing happen without my approval. Suicide is not an option, don't give up

A woman Identified as Mrs. Delight has cried out after her brother-in-law, Mr. Michael defiled her 11-year-old daughter.

According to Chritsianah Fate Foundation who rescued the little girl and facilitated the arrest of the man, the little girl was given out by her mom to her brother-in-law who promised to send her school. Mr. Michael didn’t keep his promise but instead defiled the little girl.

Investigations revealed that Mr. Michael defiled the 11-year-old girl and also three of his cousins aged 10, 6 and 4years old.

Mr Michael, however, denied the allegations. Narrating what happened the NGO said;

Mrs. Delight, a single mum, called our helpline on the 15th of April and reported that her 11year old daughter,”Jenny” (Not real name) has been defiled by her brother in law. She couldn’t afford to send the child to school and since the brother in law said he needed assistance for his mum who lives in Ikorodu and also promised to send the girl to school, she released her daughter to them in Oct 2017. The girl, however, was not enrolled in any school.

The girl came home on vacation and informed the mum about Mr. Michael’s actions. Mr Michael worked in Festac and comes to Ikorodu every weekend. Each weekend, he would trap the girl and try to force his manhood into her, and according to “Jenny” , he would “pour something white on the floor” and then leave her alone. Saturday and Sunday each weekend, he would do the same. He would tell her that her 10year old cousin ” Lina” (Not real name) is more cooperative than she is, that her vagina is already open, and she begs him for it everyday.”Lina”, is his wife’s niece. ( Mr. Michael lives in Oshodi with his wife’s brother from Monday to Friday, and returns to Ikorodu on weekends.) He sleeps in the sitting room with the 3 daughters of the man. 10, 6 and 4year old
According to the 11year old girl “Jenny”, Mr. Michael eventually penetrated her sometime in December.

My colleague, Miss Ore Adebiyi of Ben Bruce Foundation, devised a means of getting Mr Michael arrested since it proven difficult to track him down. She tricked Mr. Michael into coming for a fake job in Victoria Island and got policemen from Adeniji Adele to pick him up. He vehemently denied the allegation and even threatened to sue us if he’s found innocent. He also asked for a DNA test. He was quite full of himself. He bragged that if he had inserted his “6 inches penis into her, she wouldn’t be able to walk for a week!” We took the 11-year-old girl to Mirabel Center where it was confirmed that there has been Penetration, and the girl had an STD. My team and I arranged to pick the other girl “Lina” from Oshodi, on second thought, we decided to pick the other two sisters, 6 and 4 , and a 6year old neighbour who it was reported has also been defiled by Mr Michael. Upon examination at Mirabel Center, it was discovered that Mr Michael has sexually penetrated all 4 cousins aged 11,10,6 and 4years old . He had concentrated on the 4year old’s anus and there was an expansion. He was first arraigned in court on the 17th April at Tinubu Magistrate Court 3 – His case has been adjourned to today the 9th of May.

A mother of two identified as Sokari West was allegedly stabbed to death by her husband during a fight in their house in Buguma, Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State over the purported refusal of the wife to prepare a meal for her husband.

According to Daily Sun, the 33-year-old woman had a quarrel with her husband, Ibisaki, a native of Minama community in the same local government area, over her alleged refusal to prepare a meal for the family, which later led to a fight.


Community sources said the victim had allegedly refused to prepare the meal as ordered by her husband on Saturday, and went out to celebrate her birthday with friends and returned late in the night.The sources further disclosed that the couple have had several marital crisis in the past which led to their separation, but they later reconciled after the intervention of their families.


Tonye David, a resident of the community where the incident occurred said, “What led to the fight was that, on Saturday, the husband told her to cook But she ignored his instruction and went out to celebrate her birthday. So, when she went home later in the evening, she met her husband eating the soup she refused to prepare. Already drunk, she tried to eat the food, but the man stopped her. She lifted the plate and poured the soup on the husband.


“Her action did not go well with her husband, who immediately stood up and started beating her. He picked a bottle he collected from her in the course of the fight, broke it and stabbed her on the lap. She fell down and was bleeding heavily. They rushed her to the health centre but there was no doctor to attend to her. They took her to a medicine store to stop the bleeding, but no one was there to attend to her. So, it was when they took her to the UPTH that a doctor, who examined her, confirmed that she was dead.”

The report had it that Ibisaki, on hearing that the victim might not survive the stabbing, submitted himself to the Buguma Police Station.

Popular Nigerian singer, Davido has boasted about being the first person to make $1million from the popular ‘Pon Pon’ sound.

It is not in doubt at all that Davido and his DMW crew members have put out more records this year than many would have expected. The label, made up of singers like Davido, Mayorkun, Ichaba, Yonda, Peruzzi and rapper, Dremo, have announced that their fans should expect a DMW group album in June this year.

In an interview with a presenter Moet of SoundCity FM, Davido and his other label mates spoke on several topics relating to their music as individuals and as a group.

Davido told the different stories of his first meeting with each member of the group and how each one got signed to the label. He later went on to announce that their group album would be released later in June, 2018.

Speaking on the controversy surrounding the originator of the popular Afro Dance Music (ADM) sound which many call ‘pon pon’ sound, Davido who is amongst the many Nigerian artistes claiming the rights to the creation of the sound, stated that he was the first to make $1 million from the sound.

The Lagos state police command has given an update on the case involving 47-year-old lawyer, Udeme Odibi, who murdered her 50-year-old husband, Mr Otike Odibi, last Wednesday, in their apartment at 12A, Emerald Avenue, Diamond Estate, Sango-Tedo, in Ogombo, Ajah area of Lagos State.

Udeme and her husband met while she was working in his law firm and according to close firneds, has always been very jealous and never wanted any lady close to him. The suspect got married to the deceased after he divorced his first wife whom he has a daughter with. The couple began fighting after Odibi maintained that some of his properties must go to his daughter in his will, a position Udeme who is yet to have a child with him was strongly against.

Giving an update, the state Commissioner of police, Edgal Imohimi said investigation carried out so far has shown that the murder might have been premeditated. The suspect had allegedly purchased a new set of knifes the day before carrying out the murder.

She had also packed her certificates and belongings and was planning to travel to the UK immediately after she had killed her husband of three years.

”Findings so far into the case revealed the followings: That the couple had marital issues bordering on extra marital affairs; that on the day of the incident, the suspect sent a Whatsapp message to her sister in-law complaining about her husband and asked her to pray for them and equally ask God to forgive her” Edgal said

The police boss added that the suspect has confessed to committing the crime. In her statement to the poloice, Udeme who is currently in the hospital after a failed attempt to commit suicide, said she called her mother on phone that she has killed her husband and that she had hit the deceased with a fry pan on the head before stabbing him with the knife, cutting off his manhood and placing it on his right hand. The murder weapon has been recovered.

“Investigation also revealed that the deceased had earlier called his mother on phone and reported that his wife was threatening to kill him with a knife; that after stabbing the deceased in the stomach and seeing the intestines spilling out, the suspect did not attempt to seek assistance from their neighbours, rather, she called her mother, who was miles away that she had killed her husband” CP Imohimi said

Meanwhile the autopsy on the deceased is currently being carried out at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, by a team of pathologists while the forensic analysis result is being compiled and would be made public later.

Nigerian superstar musician,Davido  appears to have kicked off a chain of events that has continued to yield positive dividends for his girlfriend Chioma following his viral assurance of his love for her.

Days after splashing millions on a Porsche for her, he just announced that she’s secured a cooking show deal and he is her manager. Although we are not yet certain if this is the same deal that is reportedly worth over a 100 million naira.

A Zimbabwean woman who experienced a quite devastating situation after her arm got bitten off by a crocodile, has gotten married in an emotional ceremony.

The woman got married just some days after the attack almost claimed her life.

British bridegroom Jamie Fox and his bride-to-be, former national tennis player Zanele Ndlovu, were canoeing in the Zambezi river above the Victoria when the giant beast struck her from below.

Zanele Ndlovu was attacked in the inflatable canoe and had her right arm torn off and her left hand bitten.

Her husband, Jamie went to her rescue and managed to save her but she was losing so much blood it was feared she may die from the wound.

A family friend said,

DURING THE ATTACK THE CROCODILE GRIPPED HER ARM AND RIPPED IT OFF WHILE HER PARTNER MADE FRANTIC EFFORTS TO SAVE HER. THEY ARE LUCKY TO BE ALIVE THOUGH.

“THE BOATS USED IN THAT ACTIVITY ARE INFLATED AND THE CROCODILE ATTACKED THEIR VESSEL AND IN THE PROCESS DEFLATED IT BEFORE ATTACKING HER.

A make-shift tourniquet was applied and Zanele Ndlovu was rushed to hospital where surgeons managed to save her life but she lost most of her arm.

Despite her horrific injuries, she was determined to become Mrs Zanele Ndlovu-Fox and not miss her wedding day.

So the hospital allowed her to use the hospital chapel to get married.

Yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital in Bulawayo where she has been recuperating, Zanele tied the knot to the love of her life Mr Jamie Fox, at a beautifully organised, heart-warming ceremony.

Following the report that has been making the rounds on social media for a while now – that model, Blac Chyna’s mother went online to blast her daughter for not seeing her for years and keeping her grandkids away from her – Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has also reacted to the news.

But her reaction was not welcomed by many of her followers who feel she has no rights whatsoever to have a say in the matter.

Tonto says no matter what the case may be, she’d never drag her daughter on social media the way Tokyo Toni did her daughter.
